The Covington Police Department is hoping to use a new mascot as part of its increased marketing effort (SEE:Â Covington Police Launch New Marketing Effort) but it needs the community’s help. With budgets lean, and the mascot’s price tag at $5,000, the department is hoping the community can chip in to bring the new mascot to town. According to the police department’s “indiegogo” profile online:
Â
Basically..
The Covington PD is embarking on a marketing campaign. As part of the outreach, they hope to fund a Police Mascot that can be used in our schools and during some of our great events here in the COV.
We need you…
Your financial assistance is imperative:
The mascot will cost approximately $5,000 to fabricate, maintain, clean and store.
Already, Officer Jason Gray and his wife, Jaime, participated in this year’s MainStrasse Paw-rade, raising almost $500 within a short five hour period. It’s a good start, but we need more!
Please help…
Help us make reach our goal, and let’s get our Mascot in our schools and out and about during our events. Let’s show how much PRIDE we have in our Police Department and our City.
