As we mentioned in our weekend news post, the FTPD issued an alert about burglaries near the apartments off of Memorial Parkway. Â They issued an update yesterday indicating they found their man. Â It was tips from concerned citizens (possibly even a reader of this blog) that provided the necessary information to make an arrest:
The Fort Thomas Police Department has apprehended the burglar suspect that we referenced in our last E-Lert.  A witness called in who provided a good description of a suspect car and our detectives, while canvassing the area, observed the vehicle and subject matching the description and vehicle on Memorial Parkway. They observed him go sneaking behind houses and then fled when confronted. He was apprehended shortly thereafter. Evidence obtained confirms that he is our burglar.
