A few mid-week notes:

1. According to the website BigBlue247, Patrick Towles received a scholarship offer from UK this week.  Judging by his quote sounds like he may be following in the Hefty Lefty’s footsteps – ““there was a part of me that wanted to” commit to UK on the spot” 

2. Keeping with the sports theme – NCC girls lost to Calloway County in the state tournament, Sweet 16.  I promised I would work hard covering NCC so a big tip of the hat for a solid season by the Lady Thoroughbreds.  25 -4 record is quite the accomplishment.

3. In honor of the Lenten season, I thought you might want to know about scheduled Fort Thomas fish fries.  St Thomas is offering a fish fry every Friday of Lent from 4-8pm and St Catherine has a fry next Friday (18th) from 4:30 – 7pm.  Enjoy some greasy goodness!
