Officer Cooper: The English Labrador joining Dayton’s police force
Dayton’s newest police officer, a four-month-old English Labrador, took his oath of office at the city’s January 16 council meeting and has already begun training as a therapy dog, drug detection, and will spend time visiting local schools and getting to know children and families in the city.
