Slew of last-minute candidate filings puts some Kenton County positions into question

The final filing deadline for Kenton County’s municipal elections has resulted in 122 candidates running in contested races, including city government seats in Erlanger, Covington, Independence, Bromley, Crescent Springs, Edgewood, Elsmere, Erlanger, Fort Wright, Independence, Lakeside Park, Ludlow, Park Hills, Taylor Mill, and school board seats in Beechwood Independent Public Schools and Covington Independent Public Schools.
