Fort Wright asks state to take over Dudley Road bridge
The Fort Wright City Council has asked the state of Kentucky to take over ownership and maintenance of a bridge on Dudley Road, which traverses Banklick Creek and leads into an area containing Gateway Community and Technical College’s Transportation Technology Center, a pumping station for Sanitation District 1 and – in time – a new regional fire training facility.
R.C. Hinsdale parking expansion, renovation approved
The Kenton County School District has approved a renovation plan for R.C. Hinsdale Elementary, which includes parking renovations, a new roof and HVAC system, renovations of the small learning pods, new restrooms and other internal renovations to provide specialized learning interventions.
Kenton County Schools to remove underground fuel tanks for parking expansion
The Kenton County Schools Board of Education has approved a $58,387 bid from M&M Service Station Specialists to remove two large underground fuel tanks on a Dudley Road property, which will allow for the expansion of parking at R.C.
