Boys 9th Region quarterfinals: Lloyd dominant in win over Beechwood
Lloyd Memorial outrebounded Beechwood 37-22 and went on a 23-3 run to defeat them 59-30 in the boys 9th Region basketball tournament, sending them to the semifinals to face Newport.

Inaugural KHSAA indoor state track and field meet nets several titles for NKY athletes
The inaugural KHSAA indoor state track and field meets took place over the weekend at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, with Covington Catholic taking home the Class AA boys title while Beechwood finished runner-up in Class A in both the boys and girls meet.

Boys 35th District Semifinals: Beechwood slugs past Holy Cross, CovCath cruises
Beechwood defeated Holy Cross 40-36 to advance to the 35th district championship, while CovCath blew past Holmes 83-33 to win their 24th victory of the season and a spot in the 35th district championship for the 15th season in a row.
