The KHSAA individual state tennis tournament got underway on Tuesday in Lexington despite the soggy conditions outside.
The tournament was moved inside for the day.
Due to minimal court availability, only one round was played in boys’ singles, girls’ singles, boys’ doubles and girls’ doubles on Tuesday. Three rounds will be played on Wednesday with the expectation of the semifinals and championship to be played on Thursday.
