The Kentucky Barrels put up 80 points in Sunday’s Arena Football One game at Truist Arena against the Oceanside Bombers in an 80-42 victory.
Shae Spencer threw for 281 yards and seven touchdowns, completing 15-of-19 passes. Darius Prince was his top target, hauling in six passes for 124 yards and four touchdowns. Dezmon Epps, Darius Prince and Jalin Marshall also had receiving touchdowns. Spencer added two rushing touchdowns.
The win puts the Barrels atop the AF1 standings with the Albany Firebirds, the only two of nine teams in the league off to a 2-0 start.
The Barrels have a bye week this week with their next game coming May 3 at home against the Nashville Kats at 3 p.m.
