The National Disc Golf Pro Tour is returning to Boone County’s England Idlewild Park for the eighth consecutive year.
The annual LWS Open, one of the largest annual spectator events in Northern Kentucky, will be held from Friday, Aug. 9 to Sunday, Aug. 11. The 2023 iteration of the tournament sold over 500 3-day and 1,798 daily passes to spectators, according to a press release.
Last year, a grand total of 143 players, encompassing both MPO and FPO divisions, competed for a total purse of $93,610. Gannon Buhr took home the championship for the men’s division, while Valerie Mandujano won the women’s division.
