Scott and Highlands kicked off their season on Monday in Fort Thomas, the Bluebirds coming away with a 77-62 victory.
Highlands had six players score at least eight points led by Charlie Messmer’s 17-point outing. Finn Bouldin had 16 points, Vinny Listerman with 12 and Nathan Rickard 11 for those in double figures for the Bluebirds.
Scott balanced it out as well as five players scored at least nine points. Jordan Clemons led the way with 19 points, Kaymon Coleman with 12 and Carson Saylor with 10 for the Eagles in double figures. Aaron Hampton just missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
