EJ Walker scored 18 points including the game-winning tip-in to lead the Lloyd Memorial boys to a 49-47 victory at Conner.

Walker added 17 rebounds while Anthony Blaackar followed with 11 points and Carter Bresser scored nine, making three 3-pointers.

Conner put three players in double figures. Finn Louden led the way with 14 points. Tyler Warner and Chase Huff followed scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Top-seeded Lloyd Memorial (22-8) takes on either Ludlow or Villa Madonna in the 34th District semifinals at Villa Madonna on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Host Conner (10-16) faces Heritage Academy on Monday in the first round of the 33rd District Tournament at 6 p.m.

Boys Basketball

Holy Cross 56, St. Henry 52

The Indians held off the Crusaders to conclude the regular season with a win.

Nate Rominger scored 13 points to lead the Indians.

St. Henry put three players in double figures. Caden Kunstek scored 15 points with Drew Flanigan and Andrew Reis scoring 14 and 12, respectively.

Holy Cross (16-12) takes on Beechwood in the 35th District semifinals at Holmes on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

St. Henry (10-17) takes on Dixie Heights on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. in the 34th District semifinals at Villa Madonna.

Cooper 72, Scott 34

Cooper dominated to finish the regular season with 20 wins.

Yamil Rondon scored 12 points to lead the Jaguars. Shaun Pouncy and Evan Blackburn followed with 10 and nine points, respectively, as 13 different Jaguars scored.

Xarek Sarakatsannis led Scott with nine points.

Cooper (20-8) takes on either Conner or Heritage Academy in the 33rd District semifinals at Conner on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Scott (13-16) takes on Bishop Brossart on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the 37th District semifinals at Campbell County Middle School.

Owen County 46, Simon Kenton 41

The Rebels came to Independence and ended the Pioneers four-game winning streak.

Bode Stone scored 11 points to lead Simon Kenton. Jay Bilton and Travis Krohman followed with 10 and nine points, respectively.

Simon Kenton (14-15) plays Williamstown on Wednesday in the 32nd District semifinals at Grant County at 7 p.m.

Bellevue 80, Holmes 62

The Tigers shot nearly 50% from the field as Noah Frommeyer poured in 31 points in the victory.

Zach Mertens added 23 points.

Bellevue (18-10) opens up the postseason on Monday when they face Dayton in the 36th District semifinals at 6 p.m.

Holmes (2-20) hosts Gallatin County on Friday at 7 p.m. to finish out their regular season.

Bishop Brossart 53, Walton-Verona 46

The Mustangs gained some momentum going into the postseason with a non-region win.

Zoee Meyers led Brossart with 17 points. Kylie Smith and Zoey Woosley followed scoring 10 and eight points, respectively.

Elin Logue and Cam Christy led the Bearcats with 18 and 15 points, respectively.

Bishop Brossart (18-8) plays Scott in the 37th District semifinals at Campbell County Middle School on Monday at 6 p.m.

Walton-Verona (17-10) travels to Gallatin County on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. 8th Region game.

Lloyd Memorial 70, Henry County 32

Lloyd snapped a three-game losing streak and closed out their regular season in the win column.

Sierra McCoin led the way with 18 points, Maleah Ham adding 17 as the Juggernauts hit 50% from the field.

Lloyd Memorial (13-17) gets their postseason started on Monday when they take on Villa Madonna in the 34th District quarterfinals at Villa Madonna in a 6 p.m. start.
