The Campbell County boys hit the road and recorded their 20th win of the season.

Connor Weinel led the way scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds and Will Johnson scored 12. The Camels outrebounded the Tigers, 33-23 and took 12 more shots as a result.

Carson Blackburn led Beechwood with 11 points.

Campbell County (20-6) travels to Montgomery County on Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. game.

Beechwood (14-13) had a six-game winning streak snapped. The Tigers play at Newport on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Highlands 66, Holy Cross 56

The Bluebirds won their fifth game in the last six meetings taking down the Indians for the 9th Region win.

Nathan Vinson and Brayden Moeves led the Bluebirds scoring 22 and 21 points, respectively. Hank Shick added 10.

Nate Rominger scored 28 points to lead Holy Cross.

Highlands (16-11) travels to Conner on Friday for a 7 p.m. game.

Holy Cross (14-12) has lost five in a row. The Indians travel to Ludlow on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game.

Thomas Williams cleared the 1,000-point marker in the Rebels road victory.

Boone County (17-7) snapped a two-game skid in the loss and returns to action on Saturday at Holy Cross (Louisville) at 3:30 p.m.

Faith Whitford led Campbell County with 13 points. Izzy Jayasuriya and Kendall Augsback added 10 and nine points, respectively.

Taylor Hill led St. Henry with eight points.

St. Henry (13-13) travels to Beechwood on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Ludlow 78, Carroll County 74 (OT)

Ludlow pulled off the overtime win in the battle of the Panthers, making 18-of-24 free throws and eight 3-pointers.

Prestyn King led Ludlow with 26 points. Addy Garrett and Ava Hoffmeister followed with 22 and 15 points, respectively.

Ludlow (17-12) hosts Newport on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
