The Bellevue and Ludlow girls basketball teams advance to the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference championship game at 6 p.m. Saturday back at Ludlow. Here is how they happened:

Bellevue 70, Villa Madonna 32

The Tigers dominated the battle against the Vikings behind 21 points from Sydni Massey.

Jayda Dowell and Courtney McCarty followed with 12 and 11 points, respectively and Chloe Reed scored eight for Bellevue (17-7).

Catherine Gibbs led Villa Madonna with nine points.

Villa Madonna (4-16) hosts Sayre on Friday at 7 p.m.

Ludlow 57, Dayton 44

The Panthers put three players in double figures in the home win.

Olivia King led Ludlow (16-10) with 17 points. Addy Garrett and Prestyn King followed with 16 and 12 points, respectively.

Axie Jimenez led Dayton with 16 points. Tayah Smith and Allyiah Hull added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Dayton (6-18) hosts Williamstown on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Girls Basketball

Cooper 62, Boone County 29

The Jaguars completed another 3-0 run through 33rd District seed play with the convincing win.

Logan Palmer and Simone Smith led Cooper with 12 points each and Addyson Brissey scored 11.

Cooper (20-4) hosts Frederick Douglass on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Boone County (5-18) travels to Simon Kenton on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Boys Basketball

Mason County 63, Bishop Brossart 39

The Royals dominated the 10th Region matchup.

Bishop Brossart saw seven different players score, but only Dom Hadden hit double figures with 13 points.

Bishop Brossart (3-20) hosts Clay County on Saturday at Noon.
