The Scott girls won for the fourth time in their last five games with a 47-40 home win over the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds.
Nakiah Mejia led Scott with 14 points and Kaia Peterson scored 11 to go with five rebounds and four assists. Madeline Spencer scored nine points and Kourtney Peterson grabbed nine rebounds to go with five points and three blocked shots.
Caroline Eaglin led NewCath with 29 points. Jaylee Brannen added nine.
Scott (15-7) travels to Ryle on Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
NewCath (14-7) hosts Beechwood on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Campbell County 57, Notre Dame 48
The Camels snapped a three-game losing streak with an impressive home win over state-ranked Notre Dame.
Izzy Jayasuriya led the Camels scoring 18 points. Alli Collins and eighth grader Stella Brockman followed with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
Maya Lawrie led Notre Dame with 18 points and Sophia Gibson scored nine.
Campbell County (14-7) travels to Grant County on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Notre Dame (15-5) travels to Boone County on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
Bishop Brossart 65, St. Henry 55
The Mustangs earned the road win behind 22 points from Zoee Meyers.
Luciana Guidugli added 11 for the Mustangs with Greylee Kramer and Rachel Shewmaker scoring nine each.
Kayla Unkraut led St. Henry with 26 points and Joey Powers added eight.
Bishop Brossart (14-6) travels to Highlands on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
St. Henry (11-9) saw its four-game winning streak snapped. The Crusaders travel to Ludlow on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. game.

The Colonels won their eighth straight game in the 34th District contest.
Catherine Buddenberg led the way with 14 points, Avery Moore with 12 as 12 different Colonels scored in the contest.
Dixie Heights (12-8) continues their stretch of five straight home games with Owen County on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Ludlow (14-9) hosts St. Henry on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

The Bearcats won their first game back since the All “A” State Tournament last week.
Aaron Gutman led Walton-Verona with 31 points and Julian Dixon scored 25 to go with 14 rebounds. Zach Smith and Max Montgomery followed scoring 16 and 12 points, respectively.
Walton-Verona (16-7) hosts Owen County on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Beechwood 87, Heritage Academy 47
The Tigers were led by Carson Blackburn’s 19 point, 10 rebound, six assist effort as they snapped a six-game losing streak.
Owen McCormack added 14 points, hitting four 3-pointers from deep. Logan Smith and Kingston Brocket chipped in 12 points apiece. The Tigers knocked down 12 three-pointers and dished out 20 assists.
Beechwood (9-12) returns to action on Friday against Holmes at 7 p.m.
Heritage Academy (9-11) hosts Covington Latin on Saturday at 7 p.m.
