Highlands grabbed 30 rebounds on the way to knocking off county rival Campbell County, 60-48 to earn a split in the season series.
Marissa Green displayed her presence in the paint with a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds to go with four blocked shots to lead the Bluebirds. Kaylee Mills followed with 14 points and Katie Bucher scored eight.
Izzy Jayasuriya led Campbell County with 18 points and Kendall Augsback scored eight.
Highlands has won nine in a row. The Bluebirds (13-5) host Newport on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Campbell County (13-6) hosts Scott at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in a vital 37th District game.

Bellevue 55, Bracken County 54
Trailing by one with 11 seconds left, Bellevue drew up an inbounds play from out of bounds and Paulina Long converted to give the host Tigers a one-point victory.
Bellevue (13-5) has won four of five in the process. They return back to their home floor on Friday in a matchup with Dayton at 7:30 p.m.
Ludlow 59, Villa Madonna 45
The Panthers moved to 2-1 in 34th District seed play.
Prestyn King led Ludlow scoring 13 points. Addy Garrett and Ava Hoffmeister followed scoring 12 and 11 points, respectively and Olivia King scored nine.
Annie Chadwick led Villa Madonna with 19 points and Maddie Mitchell scored eight.
Ludlow (13-7) travels to Grant County on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Villa Madonna (3-13) has lost four in a row. The Vikings travel to Henry County on Thursday for a 7 p.m. game.

The defensive woes continued for the Mustangs in their 12th straight loss.
Ben Doyle led the Mustangs with 13 points. Parker Mulberry and Dom Hadden followed with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
