The St. Henry girls basketball team celebrated senior night with a convincing 55-19 win over Holmes.

Kayla Unkraut led with 14 points and Liz Mason scored 12 as nine different Crusaders scored.

Anjali Faehr led Holmes with nine points.

St. Henry (8-8) snapped a four-game losing streak with the win. The Crusaders travel to Boone County on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Holmes (2-18) hosts Newport on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Boys Basketball

Calvary Christian 60, Dayton 51

The Cougars earned the home win behind 27 points and eight rebounds from Peyton Morris.

Collin Duty followed with 13 points and Luke Getsy scored 11 to go with eight points.

Mason Johnson led Dayton with 18 points and Eli Sullivan scored 11. EJ Solano almost joined them in double-digits scoring nine points.

Calvary Christian (6-14) travels to Heritage Academy on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Dayton (5-13) hosts Bellevue on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Holy Cross 65, Holmes 57

The Indians put three in double figures in the 35th District rivalry win.

Luke Arlinghaus paced the Indians with 18 points. William McElheney and Nate Rominger followed with 13 and 10, respectively.

Holy Cross (12-6) hosts Lewis County on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Holmes (1-10) travels to Carroll County on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Snow derails Friday’s slate

The rest of the games on Friday’s schedule were either canceled or postponed due to the snowfall that hit the region overnight on Thursday and into Friday morning.

Some games were rescheduled already, most notably the 33rd District boys basketball matchups between Boone County and Cooper and Conner and Ryle.

Cooper hosts Boone County on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., Conner hosting Ryle, also at 3:30 p.m.
