The Conner girls basketball team (18-7) celebrated Senior Night with a 52-39 win over Bishop Brossart (19-11).

Conner has five seniors in guards Kelsee Simpson, Emily McGraw, forwards Juliet Strange, Breanna Maidens and Elaina Keller. Strange scored 14 points to lead the Cougars and Simpson added nine in their final home game.

Conner made eight three-pointers in the win. Junior point guard Anna Hamilton made three 3-point shots on her way to 12 points.

Bishop Brossart grabbed 23 rebounds. Senior guard Olivia Lloyd led the way with nine points.

The Mustangs face Campbell County (10-18) on Monday at 6 p.m. in the 37th District semifinals at Campbell County Middle School. Conner takes on Ryle (20-7) at 7:45 p.m., on Tuesday at Cooper in the 33rd District semifinals.

Girls Basketball

Holy Cross 75, Simon Kenton 68

The Indians (24-6) concluded the regular season with a road win against the Pioneers (15-13).

Junior post Julia Hunt led Holy Cross with 25 points. Senior guard Elizabeth McCoy and Aleah Arlinghaus scored 10 points each.

Simon Kenton also saw three players score in double figures. Senior forward Emilee Eggleston scored 17 points with eighth grade guard Brynli Pernell and freshman guard Anna Kelch scoring 15 and 14, respectively.

Holy Cross takes on Holmes (4-20) on Tuesday at 6 p.m., at Notre Dame in the 35th District semifinals. Simon Kenton plays host to Walton-Verona (15-13) in the 32nd District semifinals Monday at 7 p.m.

The Camels (19-11) finished the regular season with a home non-region victory against the Tigers (10-17).

Senior forward Aydan Hamilton once again led the way with 21 points for Campbell County. Senior guard Jake Gross and junior forward/guard Nathan Smith scored 18 and 12, respectively.

Beechwood had nine different players score. Sophomore Mattox Kelly led the way scoring 12.

Campbell County takes on Calvary Christian (3-25) in the 37th District semifinals Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Campbell County Middle School. Beechwood closes out their regular season slate at Highlands on Friday.
