The Notre Dame Pandas (10-4 overall) ventured to Winchester and edged the North Laurel Jaguars (11-4) from the 13th Region in the Martin Luther King Classic at George Rogers Clark, 56-54.

Senior forward Noelle Hubert led Notre Dame with 19 points. Junior forward Kendra Collins made four three-pointers on her way to 17 points.

Notre Dame plays host to Grant County on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Girls Basketball

Bishop Brossart 45, Bath County 44

The Mustangs (13-5) won their fourth in a row edging the Wildcats.

Brossart saw eight different players score. Senior guard Jill Planeaux led the way scoring 13 points and senior guard Olivia Lloyd scored 12. Senior forward Molly Kramer added nine points.

Bishop Brossart plays host to Boone County on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Boys Basketball Scores

Eagles head coach Steve Fromeyer won his 100th career game in the win over Dayton on Saturday night. Scott (7-11) also won their fourth game in a row.

Brayden Howell led the charge with 19 points as 11 different Eagles entered the scoring column. Nick Bowen (14 points), Xarek Sarakatsannis (13), Carter Eten (12) and Dylan Giffen (11) all hit double figures as Scott shot 58 percent from the field.

Scott plays at Bishop Brossart on Friday in a 37th District battle. After a stretch of nine straight home games, it’s their first road game since Dec. 16.

Dayton (6-11) plays at Heritage Academy on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Hamilton (Ohio) 64, Conner 58

Conner’s five-game winning streak was snapped on Saturday as the two met for the Scott Winter Classic in a game rescheduled from December 22.

The Cougars (11-5) struggled from deep as they hit just 7-of-25 from 3-point land and shot 40 percent from the field. Daniel Campbell led four in double figures with 18 points. Landen Hamilton added 16 points, Ayden Lohr and Dalton Kramer with 10 apiece.

Conner returns to action on Tuesday at Grant County.
