The Notre Dame Pandas (7-0) stayed undefeated with a 48-47 win over the Male Bulldogs (3-4) in the second round of the White, Greer and Maggard Orthodontics Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic.

Senior Noelle Hubert led Notre Dame with 27 points and eight rebounds and 6-foot-4 sophomore Sophia Gibson had 10 points, six rebounds and five blocks. Sophomore guard Maya Lawrie added eight points, 11 rebounds and two blocks.

Notre Dame takes on Pulaski Southwestern (3-3) in the tournament semifinals at 6:15 p.m.

Simon Kenton 45, South Warren 42 (OT)

Simon Kenton improved to 7-3 with an overtime victory over South Warren in the consolation bracket of the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic on Sunday.

The Pioneers survived a cold shooting night, going 29 percent from the field and 26 percent from the free throw line to pull out the win. They were paced by Ava Slusser with 15 points, Brynli Pernell adding 11.

The Cougars (4-3) knocked down 15 three-pointers following up the win over Cooper on Friday with a convincing win in the Queen City Shootout at Cincinnati (Ohio) Hughes.

Senior guard Ayden Lohr made five three-pointers on his way to 23 points. Senior guards Daniel Campbell and Landen Hamilton followed with 15 and 12 points, respectively.

Conner plays in the Scott Winter Classic starting Wednesday against the Shelby County Rockets (4-3) at 7:45 p.m.
