Conner hosted Covington Catholic in baseball on Monday with the Cougars prevailing, 6-4.

Case Testerman led the way at the plate for Conner, going 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base. William Higgins added two hits with two runs scored and an RBI, Max Brunkel also added two hits, one of them a double. Riley Abousaleh added two RBI, Everett Hall with an RBI double.

Elliot Bucher got the win on the bump with four innings of work, allowing two hits, four earned runs and walked three. Grayson Wagner pitched three innings of relief, not allowing a hit and striking out one with two walks.

The victory improved Conner to 12-10 while CovCath dropped to 11-8. Logan Dirks and Alek Yuskewich had the lone two hits for the Colonels, Yuskewich with an RBI double, Dirks and Marcus Suwinski with the other runs driven in. Austin Dickman pitched three scoreless innings for CovCath and struck out four with one hit allowed. Suwinski took the loss on the mound with six earned runs allowed in three innings pitched.
