In baseball, Heritage Academy’s Elliot Kloss is 11th in batting average at .562, Calvary Christian’s Joshua Ruwe and Newport Central Catholic’s Ian Mann are tied for 14th at .545, Highlands’ Brooks Hendrix is 23rd at .522 and Campbell County’s Gavin Kremer is tied for 36th at .500.
Conner’s Brady Bushman and JJ Bagby are tied for fourth in homeruns with five, Walton-Verona’s Dustin Willis, Campbell County’s Gavin Kramer, Newport Central Catholic’s Henry Brooks and Bishop Brossart’s Keegan Gulley are tied for 18th with three.
In the hits department, Calvary Christian’s Joshua Ruwe and Beechwood’s Tyler Fryman are tied for third with 30 hits each, Campbell County’s Carson Clark is tied for 11th with 28 hits, Heritage Academy’s Elliot Kloss is tied for 20th with 27 hits and Conner’s Brady Bushman is tied for 50th with 24 hits.
Ryle’s Josh Caudill and Beechwood’s Tyler Fryman are tied for fourth with 11 doubles, Heritage Academy’s Austin Brown is tied for eighth with nine doubles and Ryle’s Dylan McIntyre is tied for 35th with seven doubles.
Cooper’s Drew Hartman, Calvary Christian’s Joshua Ruwe, Villa Madonna’s Luke Smith, Highlands’ Max McNay, Beechwood’s Tyler Fryman and Holmes’ Braxton Graves are tied for ninth with three triples.
Walks leaders include Campbell County’s Gavin Richardson and Villa Madonna’s Michael Calliioni tied for fifth with 19, Calvary Christian’s Finn Zachary, Heritage Academy’s Hunter Boswell and Covington Catholic’s Tyler Carnes tied for 23rd with 16 and Ludlow’s Jackson Mays tied for 38th with 15.
Slugging percentage leaders are Newport Central Catholic’s JT Mumper 18th at .913, his teammate Ian Mann 39th at .818, Beechwood’s Tyler Fryman tied for 39th at .815 and Heritage Academy’s Elliot Kloss 49th at .792.
RBI leaders are Heritage Academy’s Benjamin Brown in a tie for fourth with 26 and Calvary Christian’s Finn Zachary and Joshua Ruwe tied for 30th with 21.
For runs scored, Calvary Christian’s Luke Corbin is tied for ninth with 29 runs, teammate Joshua Ruwe right behind him in a tie for 13th with 28 runs. Campbell County’s Carson Clark is tied for 17th with 27 runs, Ryle’s Anthony Coppola and Beechwood’s Tyler Fryman in a tie for 23rd with 25 runs and Conner’s Brady Bushman is tied for 28th with 24 runs.
Heritage Academy’s Elliot Kloss leads the state in stolen bases with 36, teammate Hunter Boswell in a tie for fifth with 24 and Ryle’s Anthony Coppola tied for seventh with 23. Beechwood’s Tyler Fryman is tied for 10th with 21 swipes, Conner’s Brady Bushman tied for 17th with 20. Another Heritage stolen bases leader is Elan Forman with 19 and in a tie for 20th. Campbell County’s Carson Clark and Heritage Academy’s Austin Brown are tied for 23rd with 18. Bellevue’s Carson Scott is tied with Heritage Academy’s Benjamin Brown for 37th with 16 stolen bases.
In the pitching department, Scott’s Ty Cook is one of five pitchers in the state yet to allow an earned run and sporting a 0.00 ERA. Newport Central Catholic’s Mitchell Martin is the only other NKY pitcher in the top 50 in the state in ERA, tied for 48th with a 1.00 ERA.

Simon Kenton’s Myka Brown is third with a .683 average and tied for eighth with 11 doubles, Ludlow’s Shelby Ralston is fourth at .682 and Holmes’ Julia Starr is 11th at .636.
Dayton’s Emily Hall is 21st in batting average at .611. Her teammate McKenzie Sullivan is 26th at .591. Holmes Carlie Riley is 29th at .583, Simon Kenton’s Alli Fowler is 40th at .569 and Ryle’s Emily Gehring is 49th at .558. Fowler is also tied for 43rd in hits with 29.
