The Fieldhouse, a newly renovated 20,000-square-foot indoor sports facility, will open its doors on Saturday.
Located at 3785 Lake Park Drive in Covington, The Fieldhouse is an indoor baseball and softball training facility that features batting cages, pitching lanes, turf fields for practice, a concessions area with big-screen TVs and a party/conference room.
Additionally, the players have access to advanced analytics through the latest in baseball technology, such as FungoMan pitching machines and HitTrax systems.
In addition to sports training, The Fieldhouse hosts various events, including wiffle ball leagues, cornhole tournaments, card shows, speaker series, and movie screenings. The facility is also available for party rentals, making it a versatile venue for family events and gatherings.
On March 1, The Fieldhouse will host a grand opening celebration offering various activities, including facility demonstrations, featured instructors, concession discounts, giveaways, and door prizes.
The day’s festivities will begin with the Redlegs OKI youth baseball team media at 9 a.m., followed by the public grand opening celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. The evening will conclude with a sold-out live comedy performance starting at 7 p.m., featuring nationally touring comedian Josh Sneed and “The Travel Ball Dad” Mark Paul.
