The Erlanger City Council recognized two Notre Dame Academy students Wednesday evening for their performance in this year’s Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club National Youth Championships.
Ella Farro, Lucy Redlinger and their Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club team finished as the national runner-up in their event. Erlanger Mayor Jessica Fette proclaimed July 12 as “Ella Farro and Lucy Redlinger Day” in their honor.
“Ella, Lucy and their teammates were one of 25 boats from across the country invited to the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club National League Championship to compete,” Fette said during the proclamation.
“Ella and Lucy’s goal is to win a national championship for Cincinnati with their teammates in 2024,” Fette added.
