The LINK nky Team of the Week for February 6-12 presented by Ortho Cincy is the Ryle High School archery team. 

The Raiders received over 2,200 votes, pulling away from the Ludlow boys basketball team as the week went on, who tallied nearly 1,200 votes.

Earning Ryle the honors was when they won the MQH Knights Classic in Erlanger on Feb. 11.

RYLE ARCHERY TEAM

The Ryle archery team won the MQH Knights Classic in Erlanger on Feb. 11 with a team score of 3,356 and defeating the seven-team field by 135, St. Henry finishing in second with a score of 3,221.

Ryle was led by the first place individual overall performance in Lauren Vu with a 292. Christian Wallace finished third overall with a 289. Ryle had four of the top five overall finishers, Kennan Caudill fourth with a 287 and Jared Evans fifth with a 285.

It marked two weeks in a row Ryle has finished at the top, winning the Ryle Raider New Beginnings tournament on February 4.

The team traveled to Kansas over the weekend to participate in the Border Wars Tournament that featured nine states. The Raiders finished sixth out of 14 teams.

Congratulations to the other nominees as well: Ludlow boys basketball team, Ludlow girls basketball team and the Ryle wrestling team.
