NorthKey Launches 859-GET-HELP
New number makes accessing mental health and substance use care easier

When someone is in need of mental health or substance use help, knowing where to turn should be as simple as possible.
NorthKey Community Care has launched 859-GET-HELP (859-438-4357) to give Northern Kentucky residents one easy-to-remember number for crisis support to help getting started with mental health and substance use services. Available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, the line connects callers with NorthKey’s trained local behavioral health professionals who can assess their needs, provide support and help identify next steps. People can call for themselves or for a family member, friend or someone else they are concerned about.
“Mental health needs come in all shapes and sizes and people may not know what kind of help they need. Sometimes it’s a crisis. Sometimes people just know something is wrong,” said Danielle Amrine, President and CEO of NorthKey. “NorthKey’s goal is to make the first step clear: call us at 859-GET-HELP. It’s easy to remember and open to everyone. We can help determine what comes next.”
NorthKey’s previous phone number will remain active, so anyone using that number will continue to reach NorthKey for help. The 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline, which NorthKey manages for the region, is not affected by this change.
