BURLINGTON, Ky. – History comes to life this fall as Boone County Public Library presents Revolutionary Read: Celebrate America’s 250th, a two-month series of programs and experiences exploring the people, traditions and events that shaped the nation.
Following the unveiling of the Library’s outdoor murals earlier this year, Revolutionary Read continues the celebration throughout October and November with programs featuring music, local history, crafts, creative activities, book discussions and more.
“Revolutionary Read gives our community an opportunity to explore American history in ways that are engaging and interactive,” said Jennifer Cheek, PR/Marketing Director at Boone County Public Library. “From music and historic dancing to book discussions and hands-on activities, there are many ways for people of today to connect with the traditions and events that helped shape our nation.”
