Before BLINK Cincinnati lights up the NKY/Cincinnati region after dark, start the day local in Mainstrasse Village. Cov Craft, Covington’s Curated Makers Market, returns to the Sixth Street Promenade on Saturday, October 10th and is a perfect daytime activity, giving BLINK-goers an opportunity to shop small, support the arts, and explore the city before the evening’s festivities.
Now in its second year, Cov Craft is the creation of Suzy and Brittney, the best friend duo behind Handzy Shop + Studio, Covington’s women-owned stationery, women’s clothing, and gift boutique. The market stays intentionally small, around 60 hand-selected vendors. Suzy and Brittney were market vendors themselves before opening Handzy, and they built Cov Craft around what actually makes a market worth both a maker’s and shopper’s time.
Shoppers can expect original work and handmade goods, vintage finds, local food and drink, and live music throughout the day, including cold beer from local Kentucky partner West Sixth Brewing, who has supported Cov Craft since its very first market. The market is free, family-friendly, and open to the public, whether or not you’re staying in town for BLINK itself.
