Robert "Bob" Flaherty

Robert “Bob” Flaherty has officially
announced his candidacy for Crescent Springs City Council, pledging
to bring experience, accountability, and a strong voice for residents to
City Hall.

A longtime Crescent Springs resident, Flaherty has spent years actively
involved in city government, attending City Council and Caucus
meetings and serving for more than two decades on the city’s Finance
Committee. Throughout his service, he has advocated fiscal
responsibility, transparency, and careful oversight of taxpayer dollars.

“I am running because I believe our residents deserve a city
government that is open, accountable, and willing to answer
questions,” Flaherty said. “Good government requires thoughtful
discussion, responsible budgeting, and leaders who are committed to
serving the public interest.”

Flaherty brings more than 30 years of business and management
experience with a Fortune 500 company, along with a Master of
Business Administration and a Master of Education. His professional
background has equipped him with budgeting, strategic planning, and
problem-solving skills that he believes are valuable assets for city
government.

His campaign will focus on:
• Protecting taxpayer dollars through responsible financial
oversight.
• Increasing transparency and accountability in local government.
• Preserving the quality of life that makes Crescent Springs a
desirable place to live.
• Listening to residents and ensuring their concerns are heard and
addressed.
• Supporting responsible planning that considers traffic,
infrastructure, and neighborhood impacts.

Flaherty believes elected officials should welcome questions and
encourage public participation.
“Every resident deserves a voice in their local government,” he said. “I
will work hard to ensure city decisions are made openly and with the
best interests of our community in mind.”

Flaherty respectfully asks for the support and vote of Crescent Springs
