EC LEARN to Honor Ryan Salzman at 5th Birthday Bash Celebration
Event commemorates nonprofit’s impact throughout Kentucky
Florence, KY – EC LEARN will honor outgoing Board President Ryan Salzman during its upcoming 5th Birthday Bash, celebrating five years of strengthening Kentucky’s early childhood system and supporting young children, families, and early childhood professionals across the Commonwealth.
The celebration will recognize Salzman’s leadership and longstanding commitment to advocacy, collaboration, and community engagement during a pivotal season of growth for EC LEARN. Under his leadership as Board President, EC LEARN continued expanding its role as a trusted early childhood resource network that trains child care professionals, educates families, and partners with advocates to strengthen access to quality child care across Kentucky.
“Ryan has been a thoughtful, steady leader and a true champion for children and families,” said EC LEARN Executive Director/CEO Sandra Woodall. “His passion for civic engagement, education, and systems-level change helped guide EC LEARN through important milestones in our organization’s first five years. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart he has invested in our mission.”

Salzman recently joined the Kentucky Nonprofit Network as Director of Regional Advocacy & Engagement for Northern Kentucky, where he supports nonprofit organizations through advocacy, coalition-building, and regional engagement efforts.
Beyond his professional work, Salzman has dedicated years of service to nonprofit leadership and community impact initiatives throughout Northern Kentucky. In addition to EC LEARN, he has served on boards and committees supporting children, families, education, public media, and good governance.
The EC LEARN 5th Birthday Bash will bring together community leaders, advocates, partners, early childhood professionals, and supporters to celebrate the organization’s impact and continued vision for the future of early learning in Kentucky.
The event will be held on Thursday, June 4 from 4:30–6:30 PM at The Sterling Event Center (4042 Turkeyfoot Rd, Erlanger, KY).
