BURLINGTON, KY — Boone County Public Library will host a public debate between candidates for Boone County Judge/Executive on Tuesday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Library, located at 1786 Burlington Pike in Burlington.

The debate will feature incumbent Judge/Executive Gary Moore and County Commissioner Chet Hand, offering community members an opportunity to hear directly from both candidates on key local issues. Topics will include housing, infrastructure and development, local governance, representation, and regional collaboration.

The event will be moderated by Evan Millward and will follow a structured format designed to ensure fair and equal participation by both candidates. To ensure accessibility, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided throughout the event by Deaf Choice.

This program is part of Boone County Public Library’s ongoing commitment to civic engagement and informed community dialogue. The event is free and open to the public.
