The City of Florence and the Florence Police Department invite you to participate in the 2026 Citizen’s Police Academy. This interactive program offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insight into local law enforcement operations while building stronger connections within the community. Participants will learn about patrol operations, investigations, specialized units, and more through engaging demonstrations and hands-on experiences.
The academy will be held on Wednesdays from March 25 through May 13, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Florence Police Department, with specific location details provided upon acceptance. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and space is limited.
