Touchstone Energy® recently recognized 26 member cooperatives that received the top five American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI®) scores for energy utility services among all cooperatives participating in measurement for Touchstone Energy in 2025.
The top five scores during that period ranged from 91 to 95, which compares favorably with electric cooperatives’ annual average score of 76, as reported in the syndicated 2025 ACSI® Energy Utility Study.
Among those recognized is Owen Electric Cooperative, which earned a score of 92 on a 100-point scale through a recent survey of its membership—the cooperative’s highest ACSI® score to date—placing it among the top-performing electric cooperatives nationwide participating in ACSI® measurement for the Touchstone Energy Cooperative program.
By comparison, the most recent average ACSI® scores earned by investor-owned utilities and municipal utilities in the syndicated 2025 Energy Utilities Study were 74 and 75, respectively.
Each year, Owen Electric conducts a member satisfaction survey administered through a third party. Responses are submitted to the ACSI® for scoring using its proprietary methodology. The ACSI® measures customer satisfaction across approximately 400 companies in 10 different economic sectors.
Owen Electric’s 2025 ACSI® score of 92 reflects the trust members place in their cooperative and the commitment employees bring to serving them every day. As the energy industry continues to evolve, Owen Electric remains focused on reliability, innovation and personal service.
