Junior Achievement of OKI Partners to Host Stock Market
Challenge at Cintas Center
CINCINNATI, OH (January 15, 2026) — Junior Achievement of OKI Partners will host its
annual JA Stock Market Challenge on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Cintas Center,
bringing together over 300 high school students from across the region for an immersive, hands-
on financial literacy experience.
The JA Stock Market Challenge serves as the financial literacy program capstone experience for
participating students. Leading up to the event, students engage in a multi-week Junior
Achievement classroom curriculum focused on personal finance, investing fundamentals, and
economic principles. This preparation equips students to analyze market trends, evaluate risk,
and apply informed decision-making during a live, simulated trading competition.
Working in teams, students place trades in real time, respond to market fluctuations, and
collaborate under pressure—mirroring the dynamics of a professional trading floor while
reinforcing critical financial concepts learned in the classroom. In addition to gaining hands-on
investing experience, students compete for scholarship awards and the opportunity to represent
the region at the national JA Stock Market Challenge competition, which will be held this
summer at Boston University.
“The Stock Market Challenge is the culmination of meaningful classroom learning that allows
students to put theory into practice,” said Jeff Brokamp, Senior Vice President of Junior
Achievement of OKI Partners. “By combining curriculum-based instruction with a real-time
simulation, students gain confidence, sharpen critical-thinking skills, and develop a deeper
understanding of how financial markets impact their future academic and career paths.”
This year, the event is presented by the Clement and Ann Buenger Foundation, with additional
support from the CFA Society of Cincinnati, Truepoint Wealth Counsel, Ameritas, Northwestern
Mutual, UBS Financial Services, and Western & Southern Financial Group. Volunteer mentors
from the business community also play a key role in supporting student teams in the classroom
and throughout the day of the event.
