Graduates Celebrate their Achievement outside of Life Learning Center

The Enzweiler Building Institute and Life Learning Center are proud to celebrate another graduating cohort from the collaborative Comprehensive Training Program in the Skilled Trades. This achievement showcases the strength of partnership in equipping individuals with both the practical skills and essential tools needed to succeed in the trades industry. This unique program blends comprehensive life skills training with hands-on instruction in a variety of construction trades. Graduates leave prepared for rewarding careers in fields such as Carpentry, Facilities Maintenance, Heritage/Restoration Trades, HVAC, Masonry, Plumbing, and Welding—building not just careers, but solid foundations for their futures.

The organizations were honored to welcome Representative Stephanie Dietz, who shared a powerful reminder that building something to last for decades isn’t just about the trades—it’s also about life. Her inspiring analogy reflected the heart of Life Learning Center and Enzweiler Building Institute’s mission, emphasizing that both organizations have equipped graduates with the essential tools to build strong, lasting foundations for their futures.

The collaborative efforts between the Enzweiler Building Institute and the Life Learning Center exemplify their shared commitment to providing accessible and inclusive education opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds. By leveraging their respective expertise and resources, both organizations have been able to create a program that addresses the holistic needs of students and prepares them for fulfilling careers in the construction industry. “Life Learning Center is committed to inspiring transformational change—the journey our participants take in choosing a new version of themselves. We are deeply proud to have built a program that empowers individuals to not only launch fulfilling careers in the trades but also to lead purposeful, meaningful lives,” said Life Learning Center President Alecia Webb-Edgington.

“We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our graduates,” said Brian Miller, Executive Vice President of the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky, and President of the Enzweiler Building Institute. “Through the Life Skills Training and Trades Certificate Program, our students have gained not only the technical expertise to excel in the trades but the life skills to thrive personally and professionally. These graduates are now equipped to pursue rewarding careers in the construction industry with the skills, confidence, and financial stability to build meaningful lives and contribute to the growth and strength of our communities.”
