The City of Dayton Ky will host the 1st annual Pat Tillman Honor Run the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Ky region Saturday April 19th 9 AM. Dayton is located
across the Ohio River near Bellevue Ky and offers river history, eclectic dining and a
riverfront trail with fabulous views of the Cincinnati sky line and nearby Manhattan HarborYacht Club.

The run is 4.2 (honoring Pat’s #42) miles along the riverfront floodwall path and will start and finish at Monument Park, 709 6th Street, Dayton, Ky 41074. The park is home to memorials honoring veterans from all American Wars and conflicts. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs welcome!

Tillman an Arizona State University graduate, joined the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals in 1998 and was a successful player until he put his football career on hold after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Tillman joined the US army in July 2002 and was killed in April 2024 by friendly fire.

The run is hosted by the Cincinnati Arizona State University Alumni chapter which was
founded a year ago with the school’s entry into the Big 12. The club president, Tara
Boucher, is excited to start small and grow through remembering Pat and his legacy.
The run was started across the country in support of the Pat Tillman Foundation by friends and family after Tillman’s death. By registering for the run, you will be supporting the Pat Tillman Foundation’s Tillman Scholars program, providing scholarships to active duty service members, veterans and military spouses.
