The Over-the-Rhine Museum is delighted to announce the next installment in our story-sharing series, “Three Acts in Over-the-Rhine” on Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30 PM in Memorial Hall, 1225 Elm Street. Join us for a unique event to explore our FotoFocus exhibition Snapshots of Over-the-Rhine.
The Snapshots of Over-the-Rhine exhibition was co-curated by five long-time Over-the-Rhine residents who share personal photographs, welcoming viewers into private moments of delight, celebration, and adventure. Though sometimes overshadowed by other periods of the neighborhood’s history, Over-the-Rhine of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s was a vibrant place rooted in family, community, business and arts. We invite you to join the exhibit’s curators to explore the stories behind the images of the exhibition.
In addition to exhibit curators, this event will feature Katherine Siegwarth, Executive Director of FotoFocus, and Destiny Moore, chair of the Over-the-Rhine Museum’s community engagement committee to explore how the exhibition came to life and the important missions of these Over-the-Rhine based organizations.
Reserve your seat today! Tickets can be reserved on a “pay what you would like” donation basis at: otrmuseum.org/events. We recommend $10 per person. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the program begins at 6:30 PM. A cash bar will be available throughout the event. Walk-ins are welcome until we reach room capacity.
This Three Acts event will be held in Memorial Hall. Look for signage directing you to the entrance. Parking can be found at the Washington Park garage, nearby lots, or on-street. Bus and streetcar stops are located across from Memorial Hall.
