The Inaugural Emerging Leaders in Public Safety Celebration & Conference is scheduled for November 1 & 2, 2024. This first-ever event is designed to provide leadership training and to demonstrate appreciation and recognition for those who continually protect Northern Kentucky through public safety efforts.
The conference and celebration is sponsored by a coalition supporting EMERGING LEADERS IN PUBLIC SAFETY inclusive of members from the public safety, business, and community sectors. Kenton County Police Chief Spike Jones, Officer Ted Edgington, Life Learning Center President & CEO Alecia Webb-Edgington and Corporex Chairman Bill Butler are spearheading this effort.
Police and EMS attendees must be recommended to attend the conference portion by their district chief. The conference is a program focused on leadership development for emerging local Police and EMS talent and will be held at The Life Learning Center in Covington, KY. The two-day gathering will end with a motivational dinner celebration at the Metropolitan Club in Covington, KY.

8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Leadership tools for emerging talent with a focus on emotional/social intelligence: wellness/fitness and team building
Saturday, November 2
8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Team building exercises with the National Guard
Saturday, November 2 at the Metropolitan Club in Covington, KY
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. VIP reception
5:30 – 6:15 p.m. General reception
6:15 pm Dinner and Awards Celebration
Conference participants and their guests will be invited to attend the November 2nd dinner free of charge. Corporate sponsorships to support the conference programming and the dinner range from $1,000 to $25,000.
