Park Hills, Kentucky – April 9, 2024 – Covington Catholic High School proudly announces the commencement of its 100th-anniversary celebrations. The milestone event kicks off with Principal Mr. Bob Rowe representing CCH as the grand marshal of the Park Hills Memorial Day Parade.
Founded in 1925, Covington Catholic High School has stood as a beacon of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community service for a century. As we embark on this historic journey, we invite our current Colonels, esteemed alumni, and the entire community to join us in honoring our rich legacy and embracing our promising future.
Throughout the year-long celebration, Covington Catholic will host a series of exciting events and activities to commemorate this significant milestone. Highlights include:
• Golden Colonel Luncheon: A special gathering over the summer to honor alumni of 50+ years. • Yard Signs: Displaying pride in our centennial anniversary across the community. • Alumni Mass: An opportunity for our spiritual community to convene, celebrating the bedrock of our faith together.
• Athletic Team Alumni Nights: Reuniting former athletes to celebrate the school’s sporting heritage.
• First Home Football Game: Taking place on August 30th against Highlands High School, expect exciting festivities and tributes.
• Alumni Art Show: Showcasing the talent and creativity of our alumni.
• Back the Blue Centennial Celebration: A festive gala on October 5th at Turfway Event Center for all to come together to celebrate and support the mission of CCH.
