The Brain Injury Alliance of NKY’s mission is to serve those affected by brain injury through advocacy, education, prevention service and support. We send educational materials to survivors to help navigate all the resources available to them.
BIANK organizes a monthly Brain Injury support group in conjunction with Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital (BRIDGES). We have a Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) and a Grocery Delivery Assistance Program (GAP) for Brain Injury Survivors. We give financial assistance to Brain Injury survivors for services related to brain injury, that insurance doesn’t cover (MAP). And finally, we try to prevent brain injury as early as possible, with our Bike Helmet Give-a-Way.
BIANK’s mission is to provide a sense of community for Brain Injury Survivors along with family and friends. We will also provide information on support groups and companies who provide products/services for survivors.
Walkers with be entertained by music from DJ Greg Lowry. The Art of Fusion food truck will be there, as well.
