Covington, KY (May 13, 2024): Holy Cross District High School welcomes Megan Bosma to direct the Academic Enhancement Program.
Megan Bosma will direct the Academic Enhancement Program for Holy Cross District High School. Megan comes to Holy Cross with a Masters in Psychology, having attended Northern Kentucky University and Capella University. Megan is a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and has spent the last 9 years partnering with individuals diagnosed with psychological, developmental and physical disorders to help increase independence. Megan looks forward transitioning those skills into a school-based setting to help students become the most independently successful version of themselves.
Megan replaces Kathy Krumpelman who started at Holy Cross in 2011 and has directed the Academic Enhancement Program since 2012. Though Kathy plans to complete her goal of golfing in all 50 states with her husband in retirement, she wants parents to know that she will remain involved and available through the transition and beyond.
Holy Cross began its Academic Enhancement Program in 1998 under Sue Schlarman, becoming the first Catholic high school in the area to implement a program to meet the needs of student with learning disabilities and difficulties. The program began with only seven students and has grown tremendously under Kathy’s leadership. The mission of the Academic Enhancement Program is to equip learning disabled students with the necessary organizational, study and self-advocacy skills that will enable them to succeed not only in high school, but to become life-long learners.
