ERLANGER – Yesterday, Steve Doan skipped several votes in Frankfort to raise campaign cash, leaving the people of the 69th district with no voice on several important issues.
“The people of the 69th district deserve better than someone who ignores his job of representing the people to raise money and hobnob with big donors. It took no time at all for Doan to exhibit swampy behavior and put himself first, his donors second and the people last.” said Diane Brown, Republican candidate for the 69th district.
“Yesterday Doan had the opportunity to support strengthening voter security. Instead, he abdicated his responsibility. As your representative in Frankfort, I will have only one priority and that is showing up for the people of the 69th district day in and day out.”
Brown went on to say “when Doan ran in 2022 he said ‘I’m running to take power away from those who don’t deserve it’. Well, it took a year for Doan to show he doesn’t deserve it. I call on Steve Doan to apologize to his constituents and return his pay from February 22nd to the general fund so it can go to someone who works hard at their job.”
Diane Brown is a Christian mother, wife, former attorney and Republican candidate for the 69th district House seat.
