COVINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 8, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a closure at the entrance to Cox Avenue from KY 236 (Donaldson Highway) in Boone County on Tuesday, Feb. 13, starting at 7 a.m.
The entrance to Cox Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., while contractors install a storm drain at this intersection. The entrance will re-open to traffic at 6 p.m. This work is part of the ongoing KY 236 (Donaldson Highway) widening project.
Message boards are in place to notify motorists of the upcoming closure.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
