More than 400 candidates are running for office in Northern Kentucky this year.

The deadline to file for a normal candidacy was last week, so we now know the candidates whose names will appear on the ballot in November. Including the national, state-level, county, municipal and school board races in Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties, a total of 443 candidates filed to run as of June 4.

Who can keep track of all that?

Use LINK nky’s new candidate search tool below to find all of the candidates in the region. It allows you to filter candidates lists by geographic area, the office they’re running for and their party affiliation. You can also search for specific candidate names. Finally, you can export lists by using the download button at the bottom of the page. Buttons at the bottom of the tool also allow you view it in full screen.

Write-in candidates can still file until Aug. 24. Some-write in candidates have already filed. Check back periodically to get updates on new write-ins and head over to LINK nky’s Election HQ for all of your Northern Kentucky election needs.
