Campbell County Republican Party Chair Anna Zinkhon
has filed for the Campbell County Judge Executive position and will go
up against longtime incumbent Steve Pendery in the GOP primary on May
17. 

This
is the second time Zinkhon has challenged Pendery, after he defeated
her in 2018. So far, she is the only challenger in the primary. The
deadline for candidates to file is January 7.

Zinkhon owns and operates Misty Ridge Farm in Camp Springs, near Melbourne, which offers horse boarding and riding lessons. 

The general election will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022 with the winner of the primary of both parties facing off in the general. There is currently no Democrat filed for the seat.Â
