Free Feet Footwear is holding their annual fundraiser at St. Timothy Parish in Union next month. On Nov. 12 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., participants can enjoy music, food, a silent auction and a raffle. Each ticket costs $25 and all proceeds directly support local children in need of tennis shoes.

Sally Woolf, one of Free Feet’s founding members, said the organization is proud to announce a special shoe raffle this year.

“If you donate a pair of sneakers, we will put your name in a raffle drawing and have the potential to win up to $100 worth of gifts,” Woolf said.

Woolf also mentioned Free Feet is in need of additional baskets and alcohol for this upcoming event. If interested, contact Sally Woolf via Facebook to set up a time to drop off your unused baskets and booze.

Each member of the Free Feet Footwear staff is a volunteer and no one involved receives a salary. Free Feet opened in Missouri in 2005, but President Mary Gosney felt it was necessary to bring this nonprofit to Northern Kentucky kids who need new kicks.
