The Homeless Animal Rescue Team of Cincinnati (HART) is conducting a shoe drive to raise money for the dogs and cats waiting for their forever home.

HART will earn funds based on the total weight of the shoes collected as Funds2Orgs will purchase all the donated footwear. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to HART, benefitting the animals.

People are encouraged to drop off their unwanted, gently worn/new/used pair of shoes and boots of any size/style, including cleats, golf and bowling shoes. The only requirement is shoes must be a complete pair in wearable condition with no issues like holes or broken zippers.

Donations can be dropped off to any of these locations through October 31 during their normal business hours:

Doggie Paddles, LLC – 10248 Dixie Hwy., Florence, KY 41042

County Animal Hospital – 1185 Reading Road, Mason 45040

The Healthy Bee (formerly Monroe Nutrition) – 117 South Main St., Monroe 45050

All donated shoes will be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of micro-enterprise partners in developing nations helping impoverished people start, maintain and grow small businesses, earn money to feed, clothe and house their families and support their communities.

Your donations will help support homeless animals, as well as the work HART does around the community and spread out into the world.
