A traffic switch will occur on KY 236, Donaldson Highway, in Boone County this Wednesday, Nov. 29, beginning at noon.
“The switch will include shifting lanes between KY 3076 (Mineola Pike) and South Airfield Drive (1.56-mile point) to the south,” said a press release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 6. “Another traffic switch will take place north of KY 717 (Turfway Road) (0.81 mile point). This traffic switch will shift lanes to the north.”
The Wayfair Distribution Center will be right-in/right-out only. Drivers in the area trying to reach the center from the south on Donaldson are recommended to detour by taking KY 3076 (Mineola Pike) northbound to Jamike Avenue, to Cox Avenue and then to Donaldson Highway.
The cabinet stated that the traffic switch is scheduled to last about six months.
