Life Learning Center is hosting a graduation ceremony for graduates of their Foundations for a Better Life transformational skills program.

The ceremony is set for June 16 at 6 p.m. at the Life Learning Center, located at 20 W. 18th St. in Covington. A dinner celebration is scheduled following the conclusion of the graduation ceremony. The event is open to the public. RSVPs can be made online and in advance of the graduation date. The cutoff date to RSVP is Monday, June 12.

Graduates will don caps and gowns and be recognized with Pomp and Circumstance. Honored speakers include representatives from the graduating class.

Life Learning Center’s transformational skills program, Foundations for a Better Life, focuses on addressing five domains of life: physical, financial, spiritual, emotional and relational. The curriculum assists low-income, unemployed and underemployed individuals.

The Life Learning Center offers peer support, an array of recovery support groups, employment supports and life skills training necessary for employment retention for “at-risk” individuals.
