Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Ludlow early Monday morning.
Per a release posted by Capt. Bart Beck of the Ludlow Police Department, the Ludlow Police department is actively investigating the shooting that took place at 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Elm Street in Ludlow.
One person has been shot but has not yet been identified. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The roadways have reopened, but the scene remains under investigation with officers conducting interviews.
